For RoHS component testing SMT utilizes an XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) tester manufactured by Innov-X Systems. This system automatically identifies coatings and base metals to determine the alloy or element makeup of the material. It quickly determines a definitive positive or negative classification of all RoHS elements providing a pass or fail classification. Copies of RoHS test results can be supplied prior to shipping or packaged with component shipments upon request.
